Collectible Minifigures 71007 (Series 12) possible lineup
Collectible Minifigures 71007 (Series 12) possible lineup
The possible lineup for the next series of CMF (which might or might not be labeled as Series 12, depending on how the Movie and Simpsons series' are included or excluded) is rumored to contain the following figures:

It will be interesting to see what habitats our LUG will come up for these.

if space miner has galaxy patrol armor, that'd be awesome!

I'm thinking more along the lines of "Goth Chick".dr_spock wrote:What is a spooky girl?

Hmm, well, I love the CMFs. Hopefully the rehashes will be significantly different then the originals. Also hope the price isn't as high as the Simpsons were.
Who is General Failure and why is he reading my hard disk?
Re: Collectible Minifigures 71007 (Series 12) possible lineu
I have heard that the pricing of future CMF Series will continue on from the $3.99 price point of the Simpsons, but I'm not sure what to think now with a whole lot of chains who priced the Simpsons at $3.49 on release.
Re: Collectible Minifigures 71007 (Series 12) possible lineu
$3.99 for a non licensed theme is too much. These better still be 2.99. I assume most of the molds for these will just be rehashes of old figs too.

I can understand LEGO raising price of CMFs due to inflation and creating new moulds, but 33% increase is too much. $3.49 would have been acceptable. Simpsons had new moulds for all minifigs and it's licensed so $3.99 was more than understandable.
I will buy a lot less duplicates at $3.99.

I spent a few hours online Sunday trying to find news of next series. I had no luck. So difficult now that we aren't sure if it will be titled series 12 or not. Very excited to get some news Haven't we already had a Rockstar? Hope the Jester is very different than the ones seen in the previous castle lines. I loved them and bought several but I hope they just don't release a reprint with different colors. My son is going to love the Video Game Guy I think. Genie Girl may be really cute. The Genie is one of my previous favorites. Wonderful if she will be the same blue color or different color altogether. Dino Tracker... Caveman? or more recent? Battle Goddess! THAT SOUNDS EXCITING! Swashbuckler and Piggy Guy sounds fun. Think they will use the same helmet as the Hobbit Lake Guard for the Hun Warrior? I agree without someone else that Spooky Girl may be a goth girl. So glad to have news of a new release. I also hope they aren't 3.99. I'll still be buying them but of course less of them.

That sounds like me about four years ago when the price went up to $2.99 from $1.99 with series 3!dilbert12 wrote:I can understand LEGO raising price of CMFs due to inflation and creating new moulds, but 33% increase is too much. $3.49 would have been acceptable. That kind of makes a point, it has been 4 years since a price increase.
I dont have a problem with $3.99 if that is what they will be. In fact if it means less people will buy them, I should have no problem finding what I want.

That was basically my point, I'm glad it came acrossncbarrett wrote:That kind of makes a point, it has been 4 years since a price increase.
A lot of people hemmed and hawed about the price increase then, but they're still selling like crazy. I'm no longer buying a full set of 16 + dupes as I was at $1.99, but I'm still buying quite a few of each series - only I'm cherry-picking those I really like. I mean, heck, I have 15 Galaxy Patrol figures from CMFs7! That's the highest quantity of any minifigure I own. I think next is Alien Avenger from CMFs9 at 8.

Re: Collectible Minifigures 71007 (Series 12) possible lineu
$1.99 was fair. $3.99 is stupid because I'd rather get a polybag. I think I gave up after series 6 or 7 minus the Blacktron Robot because it had the Blacktron I logo and the lack of bulk pricing availability.
Re: Collectible Minifigures 71007 (Series 12) possible lineu
Honestly, $1.99 was dirt cheap, it was such a great value I had no qualms buying a full set + dupes of those I really really liked. At $2.99 they were reasonable, but it definitely changed my buying habits to only those I really liked + dupes of those I really really liked.
$3.99 will definitely change my habits yet again, but I'm not sure in what way... It may reduce the amount that I really like, or it may just make me wash my hands of it completely.

Unless a blacktron figure shows up, eh?vynsane wrote:. It may reduce the amount that I really like, or it may just make me wash my hands of it completely.

HA, yeah, I'll probably bite for any and all space/sci-fi figures and buy multiples of those that are really cool, and that's it. At $2.99 it was all space/sci-fi figures (although, somehow I missed out on the Gray Alien and Intergalactic Girl in CMFs6) and then a smattering of other figures I liked.ncbarrett wrote:Unless a blacktron figure shows up, eh?

At the time when series 1 was $1.99, polybags with figs were $2.49 and SW polybags were $2.99. Series 1 also gave you extras on the accessories. . $2.99 is high with no extras. If Lego raises the price to $3.99 I would only get a set maybe or just the ones I like which is very few these days. I'm also on the fence on how well Lego is doing with the Simpsons. While Target and TRU had them before the lego store, they were gone quickly but my Lego store still has plenty.
