Was at Target earlier and saw these for 30% off:

Ninjago Thunder Raider (70723)
Ninjago Destructoid Limtied Edition (70726)(Target and Lego Store exclusive)(the Zane figure will be in the up and comming Ninjago Charater Encyclpedia book, so much for it being exclusive)
Ultra Agents Toxikita's Toxic Meltdown (70163)
Starwars Droid Tri-Fighter (75044)

With the weekend free $10 gift card with a purchase of $50 make this an ok deal IF you are in a hurry to pick them up. Else like myself, I will wait for them to clear them out for 50%.

Have not seen this one mentioned but the Super star Destroyer (75055) is also 30% off. Combines with the red card savings it puts it around $100 which is pretty good. Also note that this is a sale and not "clearance" so they won't be going to 50% next.

That is correct - not clearance as this is on many recent sets. Also, the tags indicate temporary savings. More like a Walmart "Rollback".

Has anyone seen the SSD in Calgary? I didn't even know target carried the bigger sets...

I figure nami meant the Star Destroyer (75055), not Super. I can also confirm the SD being 30% in QC. I doubt Target would ever carry the SSD set.

Picked up the 75055 Imperial Star Destroyer for $90.24+taxes (after 5% redcard and the free $10 Target Gift Card when you spend $50 during the past weekend - now expired). Total $101.97

That's 40% off. That kind of a discount is unheard of for a just newly released Star Wars set...or any set for that matter.

This is in Southern Ontario but I've been to 5 stores in my area and they are now all sold out.

Ah thanks. Too much to hope for the SSD to be on sale and in stock haha. Still might pick up the regular star destroyer seeing how much I've been drooling over the OT sets this season.

Thanks, just picked up Toxicita's Meltdown and Mission HQ for 30% off. Those were the only sets I noticed that were tagged with the 'Temporary Price Cut'.

Just curious, how are you guys finding these unadvertised sales? Are you visiting the stores every week?

^ very true. Hit my fourth Target store and finally found the SD, wasn't marked as sale, but scan revealed 30%. Would have liked the Ultra agents HQ but shelf was empty.

That's funny, I remember I went in not too long ago and there was an Unexpected Gathering set that was stickered at 30% off, but scanned at full price. I already had the set so left if, but I imagine you'd just ask the cashier to adjust the price?

I just got the last SD from market mall target. They still have a few of both the agents sets but they are marked down on the shelf so might not last.

Prices on all the sets I saw expire September 18th so there is still a chance you could find them in a new shipment.

They will also issue rain-checks for items that are out of stock and are subject to the temporary price drop.

Went to check out if i could pick up a Star destroyer at my local target but was cleared out but saw some lego on clearance, i guess leftovers from the summer stuff.

No, not all Targets have these on clearance yet. I checked a few yesterday, but most of them had these sets for regular price.

However, I did find the TMNT Lair for only $18 at a couple of Targets.
