MOC Batman Xtreme Mech

Post by tankm » Sat Apr 18, 2015 9:14 pm

Batman Xtreme Mech Suit.

Why Xtreme ? Cause it's really big and build to battle any new aliens enemy that's coming to destroy Gotham.

Started thinking about this after building the set 76026. Not too happy with the Bat-mech in there and start to rebuild it. LEGO do has price point to meet for sets they released. I take this as an opportunity to rebuild it and that's the fun of LEGO, you can make it your own style.

I tried using back as many parts from the 76026 Bat-mech that retain some of the key elements, eg. The Net Cannon (Mine is similar style but I mod it as a Sonic Gun Repulsor), same chest piece, Gun at the waist, Light on chest, and Leg pieces.

The hands can be attached with different accessories. For this it comes with 2 blades, which can be attached to the right hand or detached and used like a sword.

The Batman Mini-fig in this is custom print. The torso is supposed to be one of the proposed torso print for the new Batman theme. Shown here in the picture is the clams that hold the mech down when dock.

Wow, that really looks awesome! The proportions look excellent and the built, really solid. My son is into lego, of course, but moreso into whatever mech/robot build that comes in the superhero sets. We got the Lex Luthor power suit, Bat-armor, Hulk Buster, even the tiny Sentinel, and for good measure the soon-to-be retired Lego ideas Exo-suit. I think your build is well superior to all those. It's well designed and definitely worthy of purchase. Great, great job!!!
