August Monthly Mini Model Build Registration Date: July 7th, 2015

Forum member cmrt1014 gives us a heads up that the August monthly mini model build registration starts on Tuesday, July 7th, 2015 (9am EST). As mentioned last month, all LEGO Brand Stores monthly mini model build now requires online registration. You can no longer just show up during the event.

The form is updated (was as of 8:50am EST), but the main Stores.LEGO.com page is not, so just go to http://shop.lego.com/en-US/minibuild-registration

You can also get there by clicking on the news item for last month's build, none of the content was updated on the pop-up, either, but clicking the link gets to the updated form as well.

The August 2015 LEGO Mini Model Build online registration is now live. LEGO Store building event is on August 4 and 5th and the model for the month will be a Kangaroo! This is a free event, but registration is required. Thanks to vynsane for the heads up.

I wonder how quickly it will fill up. Got our spot this AM but this could get stressful!

I wonder how long this process will last. As it is, we have to miss our appointment tonight. I wonder how many other no-shows there will be.

I could see them letting the stores opt-in or out of the registration process - let those that are not too busy just regulate it themselves, but the stores that have heavy attendance can get the assist from online registration.

Did anyone else get duplicate confirmation emails? I registered first thing this morning, got a confirmation a few hours later, and then go another one about 1/2 hour ago. When I looked about an hour ago, the time I'd confirmed for was full, so I don't think I'm registered twice. ?

I only received one confirmation email, but it was several hours after I signed up. I usually take a screen shot of the confirmation when I book it, just in case.

LEGO® Kangaroo

I think it looks sort of like a squirrel, with a very skinny tail.

Yeah, I thought it was a squirrel, too, when I first saw it. Was surprised to see it referred to as a kangaroo.

I only received one confirmation email. Did you possibly double-click the registration button when you filled out the form? That could have caused it to fire the processing twice.
