I bought a big 20x20 LEGO sign. They still have a ton of stock.

List of sets seems to imply they have retired sets still for sale. Is that the case? Are they still selling for list price, then discounted, or have they marked them up appropriately and then discounted them from there for the closing sale? Can anyone provide an example of final prices found?

Unless a set had gone up considerably in value most are retail with discount. Some city/star wars have gone up alot which we do reflect, but still usually below market price so always a good deal.

And if you watch facebook.com/LastingToys we keep announceing new stuff we find in the back as we have been sorting/sifting. Alot of LEGO promotional signage, posters etc.

I am surprised a store focusing on LEGO is closing. I assumed having a store like this over the last three to five years was a license to print money. Makes me wonder if it wasn't profitable, or if the LEGO company persuaded or strong-armed it to close?

Sorry to learn you are closing your shop Mike. I think it's safe to say that Lasting Toys had become a Canadian LEGO landmark for many AFOLs (at least, for Eastern Canada), so it truly is sad news for many of us.

The sadest thing for me this year is the timing of the shutdown kinda nuked my brickfete attendance time heavily so we won't have as many builds (if any at all) at brickfete this year. I'll be out as much as I can swing but the time to haul a ton of builds is kinda getting used up re-pricing most of our store each week!!
