i had an emporium and brigade in my cart and was ordering it, when click submit order they were no longer there. Not cool.

Well that didn't go that well....I spoke with someone and he was trying to tell me that since I had the free creator lighthouse poly that it was either that or the 50% off and the system must have taken the one item off. WRONG! I tried explaining that I think it was b/c my "second" FB went out of stock. So the guy said, "well let me cancel your order and I'll place it again for you". I tried telling him, "NO please don't do that" and he did it quickly and of course I lost that item too. :(

So he looks for the FB and says, "oh it is out of stock, I guess I should have checked that before canceling your order" (You think?).

My hope was to add a different item to my order (Like Diagon Ally or other large set) and have him give me 50% off so I'd have 1 FB (all I need) and another set at 50% off. :(

He did make some note in my account to say that they will honor the buy 1 get one 50% off when the FB comes back in-stock. I guess Ihave to find two sets in stock and then order them and call for a credit...we'll see how that goes. So annoying, damn those incompetent people!

the person answering the phone cant do much. call back and demand to talk to a manager. tell them you want them to physically check the warehouse.

I know but dealing with TRU Customer Service is always so annoying and I find I just get aggravated. However, if this CS rep did it properly I should be able to get my discount.

I agree, I asked and the rep said that it would be valid after Saturday. So in the end it should work, just a crazy way of getting there.

I'm thinking about getting the Creator Lighthouse and Kingdom's King's Carriage Ambush, since both sets are listed at $40 online. I hope they have those on the shelves at the B&M store.
