Lego Store/S@H has the Calendar Set 853195

Post by atmail35 » Tue Jun 21, 2011 11:49 am

I found it this week at the Natick, MA and Braintree, MA stores. It's also at S@H

Buy Now: $14.99 USA | $15.49 CAN | £9.99 UK

I know there is a thread in Lego Original, but it seemed appropriate to post it here too.

$14.99 and you get 2 Series 1 minifigs...Cheerleader and skateboarder.

Yes, other small calendar type sets that have re-releases of cmfs inside.

Why would there be?

LEGO isn't going to make 10 different calendars with the minifigures with them, that wouldn't make business sense. The most I see LEGO doing is making one for different themes like they did with the clocks. One NinjaGo calendar, a Star Wars calendar, ect.

If you haven't bought the set I would, it's a great fun set.

Ok, I meant would they make other small accessories with cmfs in them not necessarily calendars

I get what you are saying now...they could make a pencil "cup"/holder and include minifigs!

To make it really interesting they could have made the minifigures be "mystery" again - two random figures from Series 1...I bet that would get people to buy multiples!

I do like the idea of the themed calendar sets....although you could make your own...just substitute brick colors and your own minifigures.

In that case that would be neat.

Exactly. A Star Wars fan doesn't want this, they want a Star Wars one with an "exclusive" minifigure or something.

I have inoperable cancer and am unable to work. Any gifts would be appreciated. Thank you!

Then I could see the price going up if it included a Star Wars minifig especially an exclusive. I think currently it's a reasonably priced set considering your getting printed pieces with or without the included series 1 minifigs.

This is what I meant when I said you could "make your own", you definitely can customize a calendar by using the printed numbers, days of the week, and months.
