Cant wait this to be releases and hopefully within the same price range. Got the other 2 winter sets and now will be able to display all during the Xmas Season. Better than the ceramic type winter dioramas.

Agreed, this beats the pants off of ceramic winter dioramas.

Looks as if there's a cool old-timey car in this one, too - perhaps the mail truck.

And the other good thing is that you can disassemble it (lesser space) and can even modify the buildings. :)
The winter toy shop in 2009 has 815 pcs. Hopefully the price range is still the same

I'm thinking at least $70, LEGO prices rarely stay the same now-a-days year to year. It's so nice it almost makes me want to get the two other ones.

+1

Prices either keeps going up if its the same size or the set gets reduced in size if the price stays the same. But if we're lucky, the post office will still be at $60.

I'm surprised there isn't more buzz on this set. I think LEGO has me hooked for life for each new Winter town set they release. Love the gazebo.

I completely agree... Christmas is one of those holidays where people like to collect things each year....

My parents collect the Presidential White House Ornament each year... always a nice new ornament.

I prefer these myself (and the Advent Calenders), as my mother displays her ceramic winter displays this is another unique way to do it... (especially if you have kids that you can help get involved in the season).
I have mixed feelings about new releases: I can't wait to see and get the new sets... but I can't figure out where I'm gonna put them or store them.

Really looking forward to this set. Was able to nab the Toy Shop 10199 at Amazon over the weekend. Gonna pair this up with the Market Village 10193 for a nice Christmas display. Just have to get the Bakery 10216. Might have to hunt some PAB walls for more white pieces to make sure I have enough.

Hey found this description on the item page at amazon,

Continuing the winter scene series, the Winter Village Post Office is the perfect snow-covered setting. In the cozy post office, the worker is hard at work sorting all the mail into containers and sacks, while upstairs, there's just time for the postman to take a break before setting off in the traditional post car with all the letters and gifts. From the pavilion outside, musicians fill the air with music, while children take in the wintry atmosphere by the park bench before throwing snowballs at each other - the musicians had better get ready to duck!

product features:

Includes 7 minifigures: Female post office worker, male postman, female, 2 kids and 2 musicians
Dog also included
Post office features dark-green split roof with snow, fireplace, light brick, table, coffee mug, and lamppost and mailboxes outside
Also features evergreen tree and assorted minifigure accessories
820 pieces

cant wait to add this to my set I got the other two sets last years only cost me 35 bucks for the two of them. Haven't opened them yet, will build all three this year! Just gotta track down my artic polar bears and my santa mini figure!
