Not surprised with these. Monster Trucks seem to be a big thing among a segment of young boys these days...combine them with legos and I am sure they will sell reasonably well. They should have released 6-8 of these...4 isn't enough for a kid who likes to put on "monster truck shows"

This is only the January release. Maybe there are four more coming in July.

I was completely astonished when I found out that LEGO was bringing back the Racers theme.
Now that I see the pics, I see why they did. These new sets are incredible compared to the old sets.

These actually look pretty cool - good selection of pieces in a wide array of colors, cool stickers, pretty intricate printing on the figures - and the 'crash' action feature looks like it could be a lot of fun.

Looks like these Ferrari sets will be from Shell gas station, the website on back of instructions indicates that.

I normally don't care much for polybags and what not but I'm actually interested in the Ferrari Racers ones. Wonder where they'll distribute them in Canada.

They look pretty sleek but they also look like they're two pieces each.

I was unaware of that too. I haven't heard or seen anything about monster trucks in a couple years it seems. Maybe it is more common elsewhere in the country?

That being said these do look fun. They look like small builds so even though there are only 4, it will be easy enough for kids to grab some wheels and create more monster trucks that are similar to add to the play set.
