Well, this sale is a complete dud for me, but if you've been wanting those particular sets, those are great discounts, especially the Desert of Destruction. But like they say on Dragon's Den, "I'm out!".

The point is, does ANYBODY want those sets? I mean, the flyer tells us to "Celebrate Bricktober," but with what? Half off an $8 mini Creator tin? I mean, it's a "sale" on only four items, plus Hero Factory (which never counts). The whole thing is a shame to the Bricktober name.

Yep, but I went by my local Toys 'R' Us today, and they still had Technic on sale 20% off. Also, Cars 2 was marked as clearance, all prices at 20% off their original price. You won't get the same deals online, so it may be a case of YMMV.

Does anyone know if the free ninja princess is the same poor quality Chinese plastic one found in the vintage minifigure collection or is it realy shiny high quality Lego plastic?

And everything on the list (except Hero Factory) is sold out at my local TRU and its only day 2 of sale. I wonder if that means next weeks stuff will be stuff they are trying to get rid of.
