[USA] TRU 30% Off Oct 2nd - 8th

My local TRU ad (seattle) is advertising 30% off on LEGO sets October 2-8th as well as a blurb about the Bricktober week 1 Ninja Princess. You get her with any $20 and up LEGO purchase. Going on out on a limb here and guessing this is the Week 1 Bricktober sale.

The flyer says 30% off all LEGO sets and games shown, and has a picture of about 24 sets, but it says 250 are on sale.

Some of the included sets are SW Falcon, Kingdoms Mill Village Raid, the two large AC sets, Ninjago Fire Temple, SW Pod Racers, Heroica, Atlantis, City, etc.

This is the list as I understand it that is 30% off....I haven't seen the ad yet, only a post from a different site. I was waiting for someone else to post something credible since it was purely rumor at the time.

Some flyers may also have a Geoffery Bucks coupon(not sure what that is exactly), plus the Bricktober with a 20$ purchase

Sure enough - the discounts seem to have popped up on Amazon. Mill Village Raid's discount did anyway.

Coupon in the Sunday paper also included 10 TRU dollars for 75+ dollar purchase, in store only. The back says there is a 6 hour wait til use by my cashier didn't bother. I bought the Mill VIllage Raid and King's Carriage for 82 and change out the door, then used the 10 dollar gift card and got the Blacksmith Attach for free. So that's all three of those new Kingdoms sets for 82.69 total. Plus I got the free Bricktober Ninjago figure. The announcement of the Kingdoms jousting set got my heart racing for this stuff again.

I got two with no problem. Cashier rung the orders up separately but she did them using just my one rewards card.

Today I bought the Podracers (since my B&N order never shipped) and one of the minifigure storage cases (not on sale). I used a $10 off $50 coupon I had received on a flyer in the mail and I was able to get the $10 gift card for spending $75. Although it took forever, the cashier was unable to issue the gift card (I'm guessing b/c of the $10 off $50) and the assistant manager was also unsuccessful. I had to go to the service desk to get the gift card issued. But in the end it worked out ok.

$66.49 for the podracer set + 22.99 for the minifgure case, less $10 was $79.48 for the two items and another $10 back to use on my next purchase. And they had the Bricktober magnet.

I also had $10 in Rewards R Us $, but I thought that might push me below $75 so I'll use that next time I guess with the $10 free gift card.

ETA: The $10 gift card w/ $75 purchase is valid with any toy merchandise so you can also use other items as a filler....

Yes free Ninja and a $10 gift card for $75 or more purchase. There is a coupon you need to use for the extra $10 gift card, it was printed on the front of this week's flyer that I got in the Sunday paper. I'm not sure if it is regional or not.

Do we know if the $10 Geoffrey Bucks stack with the Lego $5 (for spending $100) or Lego $10 (for spending $150) as part of the BrickOctober promotion?

I would think they would stack as it seems it is part of the rewards r us program....but I wouldn't be surprised to see Lego whack with a 1/2 value or something like they do with most sale items.

I played around with my cart a bit trying to make this work but couldn't get the figure to come up free, even after removing some random other promo the cart apparently qualified for and including separate items that met all the value requirements for multiple promos. If anyone susses out how to do it ...

I just figured out what these are on the Rewards R Us page...good for rewards members only. Maximum of $10 per member, mailed 8-12 weeks after promo ends. Earn them October 1-31.

I'm guessing that TRU will total up all your LEGO purchases for the month and you will be mailed a $5 or $10 certificate to use on a future LEGO purchase at TRU.
