[MOC] MOD Museum

Post by dho7622u » Wed Nov 09, 2011 11:30 am

The MOD Museum was founded in 1975, taking over the town's Armory building. For the 20th anniversary, a new contemporary entrance was added, designed by I.M. Brick, adding light and a new escalator. Two years ago, the sculpture garden was updated and redesigned.

Floor ONE focuses on the history of art and design. Floor TWO is the history of dress.

New photos will arrive when the exhibits are open to the public.

(I am experimenting with different photographic styles and lighting forms, so please be patient.)

Great job! I really like the look of the glass lobby.

Nice! It looks like a lot of work was put into this. My favorite parts are the LEGO minifigure statues and the elevator. Great design!

Nice exterior with the mixture of modern and medieval style.

Thanks, legohunter. I work in an Armory, so am fascinated by the castle elements.

Then, you could keep your lego collection inside your MOD museum. Looking forward to see the interior.

By the way, I was thinking about to build a wax museum in modular format, too. Unfortunately, I haven't even opened "Battle of Alamut" yet.
