i just came back from Target and it appears they are starting to get ready to do their annual LEGO purge...found some ninjago, atlantis, pharoah's quest & kingdoms on the 'clearance' end caps. wouldn't exactly say they were even close to clearance prices though. i did find the kingdoms 7949 prison carriage rescue for $5.48 so that was actually $50% off so i got a couple of them. i suspect the discounts will increase as time passes and will probably be closer to 50% or more off after xmas passes. if anything, just a little sign that they are probably gearing up to clear up a lot of shelf space to make room for all the incoming new sets for 2012...

I was curious so I just checked. The red squid-like minifig from Gateway of the Squid seems to sell on Bricklink at around 5 bucks all day long!
