Vynsane, I agree 100%. how the wings flip open with the Dark blue elements is amazing for MOC's.

LegoFanTexas, yeah, its crazy. Ninjago is completely vacant from virtually every major retailer in the Pittsburgh area. Just an empty space at Walmart and Target. Toys R us is still well stocked though. With the exception of the big movers such as Jay ZX pack and Kai's Bladecycle. Looks like parents are catching on to TRU's clownshoes and buying their Ninjago products from Walmart and Target. The only set TRU didnt have insanely marked up is Fangpyre Truck.

Out of stock again. On a side note Kai's Cycle is back in stock. My guess is it will be out in 12 hours or less.

Kai is now out. My prediction was right. High demand, short supply. Ninjago for select sets is turning into the Skylanders craze.

A Target near me has at least 75 of this set at normal price on an endcap. I don't think it's as bad as Skylander.

On a side note, this years spinner sets are almost extinct from every major retailer. Well, except from maybe TRU. I don't there going to be restocked. Crazy, either they didnt produce that many or all the parents snatched them up. Perhaps a bit of both.

It does make me wonder why is lego being so stubborn on making more of these.

I think the spinner is expensive to make and they can make more of a profit with larger sets. Just look at the dragons. Those wings are not very economically, hence the short production runs. I think their being nice to still sell the Fire Temple. Won't make it till the end of the year I bet.
