Hi have some news on this years Winter Village set!

10229 Winter Village Cottage will have 1490 pieces and be priced at USD $99,99.

This will be bigger then all the other sets so far!

We should have an official press release on the 4th. of August!

That's a nice price-per-piece ratio right there. I still need last year's Post Office, but I'm confident it'll be available again this coming winter. I'm anxious to see what this looks like!

Wee! I can't wait! Hopefully this will curb my temptation from buying the Haunted House (and the subsequent requisite purchases of the other Monster Fighters sets). I have the other three WV sets so this will fit in nicely

Wow, so many sets are pushing to the $100 mark, which makes it harder and harder to justify to keep buying these! My "Christmas Village" is going to cost more than my actual house pretty soon!

S@H and Lego Stores for the first few months and then TRU gets them. I'd say it will be bout $120-$130 in Canada.

I've seen it at the lego store for half during the xmas clearance sale. It seems to be a seasonal item that they want to get rid of.

For VIP members this set will be available in Europe on the 24th. of October at a Lego store.
I'm not sure about the US but someone should call and ask, then post!

I wonder if there is going to be any holiday-themed promo set in November this year. Last year we got the "1 of 2" and "2 of 2" sets in Oct/Nov. The Oct calendar this year has nothing denoting it.

I can confirm that this applies to Canadian VIP members as well. Just received my email about a half hour ago. I like how they give you two options on how to buy it, with the first being getting early access, and a second option to wait until October 1st for double VIP points lol.
