When you buy $50 of lego or more, you can apply the coupon code 954521 to cut one set by $15. TRU.com seems to have updated so that the $15 is from the original TRU MSRP. So no point in looking for sets which already priced lower than their MSRP.

This is, however, a good time to get online only items, like the Christmas creator shop sets since those are still at real MSRP.

Offer also valid in store but the printable coupon is screwed up right now. You can probably get the coupon in store from the printed pamphlet, but for those of us without delivered adverts will need to be creative and do a print screen/paste in word doc to get the coupon to work.

Also look in your email for a $5 in-store only coupon (no minimum amount) valid to 8/16. Not sure if this coupon is unlimited, but you could try and see. if it is, you can just get free goodies till Thursday. best applied on the small set items.

Oh and be careful because if you're only buying one item and it qualifies, when you apply the coupon code, it may and probably will make your purchase ineligible for the free shipping. Thus negating your savings. I'm beginning to really hate TRU.

I was looking at the new creator house, it's marked at $55 which is only $5 above msrp. If you can talk your local TRU into getting the extra $5 off brings it to $35 which is $15 below msrp.
And you should still get a minifig. Should work on neither of the coupons does it say not to be combined with other coupons.

PS. Let me know if anyone is interested in getting ahold of more than one unique coupon from their single computer. I know a few tricks. Pm me.

I picked up the new creator beach house in store since I was passing through the area. I tried to stack the $5 coupon but the cashier wouldn't let me In total it cost me about $43 after tax, which is only a 14% savings from amazon.com (msrp $50), so not really worth it imho.

Go to the front page of this site, locate the news section for the coupons. The link is right there. You get a unique code per PC. If you use a public PC like the library, then chances are some one already used it. On the other hand if you have a floating ip address you can probably reuse the coupon by clearing out the browser cache and refresh link.

Went to TRU today and they had a Spend $20 or more on any Lego set and get the Thor and Cosmic Cube polybag set free promo going on. The signs said bring the free item with you to the register, so of course, the Thor set (or any other polybags for that matter) were nowhere to be found.

I was at my local store and asked about the Frodo polybag since it said in the store that it was available and in stock for in store pick up. The customer service rep told me that it was probably in a box on a pallet and it might be out later in the week and their stock confirmed that they had 50 in store. I didn't pursue this question but in my mind I wondered what would happen if I did arrange an instore pickup order what would have happened?

I found Series 8 CMF, $3.49 a piece, but with the $5 off it was $2.10 with tax for both

So i received a text, email and Foursquare notification on my phone about the $5, I wonder if the code would be the same since it is on one device? I should try to print one out at home I guess.
