Thanks...I save a quick button to Amazon's Movers and Shakers as they call it...frequently items trending are doing so because of significant price drops. Here is the link for anyone else who wants it. Legos are frequently a top item in toys.

I'd buy LEGO LOTR everyday at 20% (and no tax). Virtually 29% off for me.

Just found it for $54 at my local Walmart in Minnesota! Not even listed as clearance! Woohoo!

New Jersey will start paying tax to Amazon in 2013. Amazon cut a deal with the NJ gov't where they get some incentives around these warehouses they want to build, and in return, Amazon will collect sales tax. I read an article where it justified the move as Amazon looking to move aggressively into same day and overnight shipping, and they are willing to make the tradeoff of sales tax for it.

Well, Amazon collects sales taxes from Kansas, Kentucky, North Dakota, New York, Texas and Washington.
It plans to add Pennsylvania on Sept 1st and California on Sept. 15th.
Also, noted Walmart has adjusted their online prices for these two items:
$102.48 - LEGO Lord of the Rings The Battle of Helms Deep Play Set
$61.91 - LEGO Lord of the Rings The Mines of Moria Play Set
