went into TRU today,
armed with this bit of info:

the associate found the item in the system,
and said that there are none available anywhere.
no store has them
and they are not available online.

how's that for super helpful??

The Zombie Car 40076 that LEGO stores are giving away in September is a different set from the Zombie Coffin Car 30200 that TRU has listed.

No, but I talked to an employee on Thursday about 12 days ago and he said that they should be in within 2 or 3 weeks. I'm heading to TRU this Thursday (that's when their Lego truck arrives) and will report back here with the results.

Argh! None at my TRU today. Now I have to wait another week and cross my fingers. But at least Target had the ghost set today.

I visited the TRU in Gaithersburg, MD at 5pm today. A manager looked up the set for me. She said there were none in stock at any of the local stores and that there was not even an indication that a shipment was in process.

FYI, the last time I asked something like this, I was told that 300 Batman Jetski bags were at the distribution center and were scheduled to be delivered to the store within a week. So at least for Maryland folks in the DC suburbs, I would not hold your breath hoping these bags will be available next week. (And I hate to be cynical, but even if they are, I would not be surprised if they were priced at $6.99).
