Sneak Peek at future sets in Batman Visual Dictionary?

    Postby Buttmunch » Wed Sep 19, 2012 9:28 pm

I got the Batman Visual Dictionary today via Amazon (thank to the 42% off update notice on here!) and there appears to be a sneak peek of some future sets:

    Mr. Freeze's Vehicle:

If you look closely this is the new Mr. Freeze figure we saw at SDCC, so it would seem logical that this is part of that set with him in it.

    Wonder Woman's Invisable Jet:

This seemed like an obvious choice, but no idea if this is a for sure upcoming set like Mr. Freeze. But I hope it happens!

Sorry for the blurry pictures. Its hard taking a pic of a pic in a book. All the more reason to pick up the actual book! BTW, the Electro suit Batman uses the new cowl, which I can't say I'm a fan of since it doesn't fit on the head properly (sits way too low one pressed properly into place).

Is it just me or does a Lego model of an invisible jet seem somewhat silly...?

I doubt those are going to be legit sets. Just my opinion.

The use of the term "sketch model" on each kind of negates the possibilities of these being 'official' sets.

    Agreed.

The jet looks way too rough to be something TLG would actually consider putting out as a set. Although, I would not mind getting a large variety of clear parts out of it if they actually did.

The vehicle Mr. Freeze is riding has more potential, in my opinion. It's more in line with some of the smaller vehicle that show up in the current Super Heroes line, such as the rather pointless little cart in the Spider-Man set.

Agreed. I think the Freeze one is probably pretty close to what we'll end up with. Wonder Woman's ride clearly has some non-invisable parts there so its probably just a mock up until they actually have the clear parts of those made. But I suspect it will look similar in design to that if not exactly the same but clear.

Although these sets appear interesting, Brick Heroes reported this weeks ago, stating that they are "prototype devices." To see the full post, click here: http://www.brickheroes.com/2012/09/lego ... sible-jet/
