Amazon and Walmart did discount the Death Star a few months back, got 1 for only $335. The Superstar Destroyer also sold for $335 during that time.

Fantastic price but has no play-ability whatsoever. Now if only Lego could give us a $400 mina tirth form LOTR....

That and/or Rivendell! Rivendell would do so well as a high priced adult LEGO set that doesn't need function.

I know a lot of people are unhappy with the Super Star Destroyer, but I love it. I wish for more ships that would display well with it like Medical Frigate, Rebel Transport, Calamari ships (but on the midi scale).

Either of those would be a must buy! Too bad it may not happen. It took many years to do a expensive star wars playset (not model) in the death star and LOTR only came out this year so the trend of it happening soon doesn't seem possible.

Noticed besides amazon showing $320 for SSD, it is price matcing Walmart for $380 for the death star.
