sorry king, The guy i spoke to on the phone had a snarky attitude where he was like... "oh yeah people were calling me all day my lego set is awesome. and oh btw I wont ship it to you", (When every other lego store was shipping them.) I think that he was a manager maybe and raised the price on the lego set just to be a jerk to everyone inquiring about them. Sorry King if I was one of the ones that helped drive the price up.

Don't sweat it at all. You cannot underestimate the power of TnB. I know when the news of this set hit about the Costa Mesa store in February they said they sold out of about 50 sets that day.

We frequent about 8 or 9 Lego stores in the Western US and there are always a few bad apples here and there. The only store we've had regular trouble with was Downtown Disney. A quick call to the regional manager made everything good, and I always urge anyone who has a bad experience to take that step if necessary because the regional managers are excellent.

BTW...we just never go to the Downtown Disney store any more. They were eventually rude enough that we just stopped spending money there.

We just asked a nearby store (Costa Mesa) for the information. It worked out well because the same regional manager was over our local store here and they were able to quickly take care of the issue through our local store. (Which is always excellent)
