What do you mean by "no overhang"?

The size restriction is 1 foot high, by 1 foot long, by 1 foot tall (one cubic foot). No overhang means that you cannot have pieces that extend beyond that dimension.

I hope that answers your question, if you need further clarification, please let us know.

So yeah, just to clarify, there is no theme per se? Basically follow the size rule and that's it, it can be ANY idea or theme (within reason)?

That is correct, there is no theme and it just has to fit the size restriction. The possibilities are endless.

I'm trying to figure out how to upload a photo so once I do there will be at least one more entry.

Also, Quick clarification regarding the photos rules. It states in the rules 2 photos of the build, and 1 photo of the inspiration, but many entries have more than this already, can we get a ruling on this?
