The box after being opened. Yet again, numbered bags, fresh smelling rubber tyres, very long cross axles, etc.

And for the first time, the stickers are numbered so that the instructions tell you where to place the right one in the right place!

Now building the upper part. Unfortunately, I cut my finger on a gear rack as I was assembling the boom mechanism!

My finger bled a lot! So I used a rubber band to stem the flow, then covered the cut with 2 bandaids!

But I still managed to assemble the telescoping boom!

So what do you think of this model? Any good? Any better than other mobile cranes?
I'd say that this model needs improvements on gearing as it has very intricate mechanisms!
Can anyone think of a solution on how to make the legs lower faster and reduce motor strain?
But still, it's great to have with your collection either on your shelf or in your cabinet if you don't want it to be covered in dust, just like a real mobile crane!

Thanks for the pics. Do you have any pics next to other technic trucks so I can see the scale of it?

I certainly do have pics of it next to the smaller one that I got in late 2010. I'll upload them very soon!slacker wrote:Thanks for the pics. Do you have any pics next to other technic trucks so I can see the scale of it?
