Nice! Just watched these again the other day. I would say the only thing that needs to be improved are the rear fins - they are supposed to be more arched like bat wings, here they look more like the Batmobile from Batman: The Animates Series (the art deco one).

This piece is actually used in a lot of the recent and past Batman sets:

This one is larger, and much more expensive, since it was used on the 2006 UCS Batmobile only:

but if you wanted to go with a brick-built solution you could use a combination of bows and arches or angled bricks and then angle it using hinge plates/bricks:

(I tried finding your profile on Flickr so I could tag you in that pic, and see your other work, but I can't find you. You should use the built-in Flickr 'embed code' that automatically outputs both the thumbnail and link to your pic! While searching for you, I found a LOT of batmobiles that you could use as inspiration.)
