Oh noes! Anyone want to buy 5-10 witches from me when these packages come out?

I am excited to see someone to make a review of it. Does rock band figures come with new color?

Same to me, we need plenty of zombie and ghost but not witch. Not a prefect combination. It is like putting a Darth Vader with 3 storm troopers in a battle set.

Off the topic, I prefer TLG stop re-releasing CMF. This literally drags down the value of CMF.

Fantastic! Looks like a new zombie too! I was wondering when they were going to get a witch into the Monster Hunters line. About time. Too bad it isn't a total army builder set, although I guess multiple witches is something that isn't too bad. Could have been a worse monster to get multiples of

Man, I'm going to have a ghost army between this, the ghost train, the haunted house, and the granfather clock set. Wish zombies were that easy to army build.

From what I can tell of the zombie, the outfit looks like the series 1 mini figure but in brown instead of grey. Probably a new face though.

I just army building the zombies was easier. I don't like the idea of having a bunch of them in the exact same outfit and/or face. They aren't clones afterall. And ripped up lego clothes basically don't exist.

I'm glad they made changes (albeit very minor changes) to these figs. The Beach Minifigures pack was identical to their CMF releases. And it's a nice touch that a mini build is included as well (drum set & speakers, tombstone, BBQ in the Beach pack).

Yes, it is looking like the same torso with brown color.

I guess the release of "zombie" at monster fighter series does upset the person who spent over $10 for it at secondary mkt. Anyway, I am going to add this into my shopping cart.

I like both but I'm REALLY disappointed by the lack of a guitar accessory piece, by the look of the image it's a brick-built one. I would love to see some guitars and not just Flying V style ones...

I love this "Saved By the Bell" Minifig Pack! Jessica Spano, Zack Morris and Kelly Kapowski figs look great in their summer scene!

The LEGO Rock Band one is cool, although I would have thought it would've come out when LEGO Rock Band: The Videogame came out. Who knows? Maybe this means LEGO Rock Band 2: The Videogame! ;-)

Why does the zombie have a walkie-talkie? Too funny. That's a cool set. Would be better if it was a zombie 3 pack. How epic would that be?

This is the marketing strategy from TLG, that induces you to buy 3 packs of it to get 3 zombies.

Definitely loving the recolor on the 'rock band' set. Green mohawk, black 'punk rock girl' hair, and the black & white motif looks great! The Monster Fighters set is cool, but the witch looks like a straight-up original CMF, not a recolor. Still probably worth picking up, especially for the brown-suit CMFs1 zombie!

They recolor the hands. Actually, they switch it into light bluish grey/sand green color.

    I thought the same thing.

Hey. <hiss of static followed by a hollow gravelly soulless voice>
There's humans down here in the old Kmart parking lot. Bring your appetite. Over and out.
    <static hiss>

The zombie is actually a business man. When he became zombified he was closing a big deal merging companies and now he is doomed to walk the earth with his suitcase and cellphone forever in his hands. I don't think the walkie-talkie piece seriously conveys "cell phone" well anymore. Put a police badge on the shirt and now we're talking.

The way the light flashes on the Monster Fighters package I thought the spider was painted. That would be cool indeed.

I like them both but not enough to pay full price. We'll see where it goes.

To bring a second "Saved By The Bell" reference into this topic...

Maybe he died in the 80's and was buried with his enormous Zack Morris style brick cell phone...

I ordered two of each 9/1/12 & they arrived today. I haven't opened then yet, because I'm planning of giving them to my niece & nephew. I held the package up to a light & the ghost glowed brillantly! The witch has a much nicer robe pattern than the CMF. The Zombie is identical to the CMF except his suit is brown. His accessories are an odd match - walkie talkie & briefcase.
The band's drummer is quite cool. I like the fact that the guitar is made from parts; it fits in well with the pieced together drum set & other items. Hmm I may need to get an extra of each for myself. I just love witches & ghosts.
    - Sue
9/9 update. My error the witch is the same as the CMF. I opened both sets. The Rock Band Set is pretty good. There are a few metalic pieces. The Monster set should be $10.
