LEGO 75060 UCS Collector Slave I Pictures
A new LEGO Star Wars Expert Collector set has been revealed by just2good over at Eurobricks! This time, it will be the 75060 UCS Slave I set containing 1996 pieces and 4 minifigures. What do you think of the new UCS set? The minifigures definitely aren't anything special as we've got better minifigures from the last 573 pieces Slave I 8097 set, which was priced at $79.99 USD / $99.99 CAD.

WOW this looks SO nice! Minifigures aren't the highlight imo, but the ship itself looks very movie accurate. Thanks Lego now I gotta budget another $200+ in the next year or so...
Re: LEGO 75060 UCS Collector Slave I Pictures
This looks great, and I'm glad they threw some arm prints back on Boba Fett!

Dat windscreen...
It looks great, but I don't think it'll make it into my budget. The Boba Fett figure looks better than 8097, but it's not a huge improvement over the one from 9496 "Desert Skiff".

While it's nice to have awesome exclusive minifigures in high ticket sets, I do agree with tsetsetse that minifigures really aren't the draw here. I like that they're included since it's apparently on the minifig scale, but it's not the selling point for sure.
I think it's an awesome looking set. I can't get over the enormous windshield! And what type of green is that? It looks uncommon and has a ton of pieces in that color.

Agree, the minifigures aren't the draw, here, and the piece/color selection really is fantastic. Not sure which green you're referring to, whether it's "Sand Green" (the lighter, less saturated color) or "Earth Green" (a.k.a. "Dark Green") but there is an abundance of useful pieces in both, as well as Dark Red!

Slightly beefed up version to 8097 and whole lotta new stickers especially for that nice windshield = UCS slave. I have a feeling this is going to be the UCS b-wing 2014 on a brighter note at least prices on the 8097 will return back to earth.

Any hints on where they'll price this? $149, or $299, or somewhere in between.

Well then, I guess it falls in the range of price per pieces that most of the other Star Wars UCS sets have. If they had given a better group of figures, that price might feel a bit better. I was hoping for $159 - $179 with what they showed in the packaging pictures.Mantisking wrote:One source says $199.99.
That being said, I don't have an 8097 Slave 1, only one of the older versions which wasn't as nice. So I'll end up picking it up either way.

A slightly beefed up $119-129 set for $199. Who needs money anyway. If it's anything higher than $199 it will be a bigger rip off than the new UCS Sandcrawler.

I think this set will do very well once it goes eol, its just such a iconic ship and even the regular sets are still very much sought after. Eol will be far away but i will be looking to get my hands on a couple of these for sure.
Re: LEGO 75060 UCS Collector Slave I Pictures
I definitely want this set. The ship and the ability to display it look great.
