This coming wave, 6 new LEGO Star Wars Microfighter sets would be released. just2good found 5 of the 6 microfighter images. They marked as Series 2 which is a little strange as I thought they already released 2 waves already. Shouldn't this be Series 3?

I'm curious what sets you think are Series 2 such that these would be Series 3.
Bricklink only shows 6 previous sets. http://www.bricklink.com/catalogList.as ... ing=65.806

AT-AT looks really cool/cute. Not sure how I feel about all minifigs in this wave being army builder minifigs. Han Solo was in wave 1. Many probably already have a Han so the figure may be kinda of useless. I guess in that case it would be better for them to include Army builder type minifigs. It would be awesome if they included more rare minifigs like Saesee Tinn or Aalya Secura.

I am kind of disappointed by these new microfighters. I love the snowspeeder and design but the actual rebel pilot is kind of a step down as far as design from the previous rebel pilot for the x-wing microfighter, that one was much more detailed. Also the vulture droid and spider droid are kind of a disapointment. I think maybe one of them should have been a geonosian or something. But a droid is not really a minifgure so I will pass on that. I like the republic gunship but there is not much too it. The AT-AT I would give like a 3.5/5 just because there are not many pieces.
I would like to have seen like a Slave 1, a Sand Crawler with a Jawa, a wookie catamaran with a wookie, or a gungan sub with like Jar Jar or Qui-Gon or Obi-Wan. Something to kind of pull out those unique figures at a lower price. I feel like this round was sort of less thought out. Also why are there only 5? 6 would have been better.

Wow! Slave 1 and a Sand Crawler with a Jawa are great ideas!mattlee1965 wrote:I am kind of disappointed by these new microfighters.
