Retail price for this new 2012 LEGO Star Wars set will be $179.99 USD, $229.99 CAD, £149.99 GBP. Contains 2127 pieces and will be available beginning May 2012 exclusively at LEGO Brand Stores and LEGO Shop at Home. lol So am I. I think we were all expecting the worst, but i think the price point is pretty reasonable. This would make such an awesome desk piece.

I'm not a huge fan of lego star wars (Don't shoot me, of course I still like it and star wars in general.), most of it is overpriced and I only really like the original trilogy, which is getting less love nowadays. But this is amazing! Great size and detail and managed to stay a reasonable price! I must have one!

I imagine they'll sell a boat load at that price. Doesn't seem to have the usual SW sticker shock. Now if only I wasn't into the modular buildings.
