This will probably be the only way to get Elrond ever, right? I feel like I asked for this, but I was recommending they include a whole set with the limited edition to make it worth it.

Anyone have a US version of this? I'm hoping I can order for xbox, that seems to be only playstation...but I confess to not comprehending most of it.

Edit: scratch that, I see it is available for multiple platforms now. It was just playstation in the picture

I really hope this is not a European exclusive. US Amazon does not have any limited edition listed for pre-order.

I'm thinking this was probably already discussed in a previous thread since the Gandalf the White exclusive fig info was posted on 7/26...and it is now 8/5 but, I didn't see it.

I was wondering how the 2 will coexist (elrond exclusive and gandalf the white exclusive)? Is one of them the gamestop exclusive and one amazon exclusive possibly?

Is the gandalf the white info correct? it seems less official than this recent elrond info we have seen.

I heard of people buying the games for the fig and then returning them unopened. Anyone have experience with this?

I'd be willing to buy 2 games, 1 for each fig, and try to return them.

I actually saw it in store, not online. A sign was posted on that board where they normally announce video game preorders.

I preordered the game today. I've heard that the Lego games are pretty fun, otherwise I wouldn't of bothered, and my collection would be incomplete.

Can someone answer a question for me, as I am not an original LotR guy....

So in the catalogue, all of the characters have the TM next to their names: Frodo, Gandolf the Grey, Aragon.

But the following three don't: Pippin, Merry, Legolas

I can see, I guess Pippin and Merry (Pippin being used in many other forms than just a LotR character, and Merry being a common word). But Legolas? Seems weird.

Just thought someone might be able to offer some light.

    Thanks

They should put a TM after the "Lego" in "Legolas".

I preordered the game for Wii, which doesn't release until Nov 13th here in Canada. I think I'm going to head down to TRU tomorrow and see if I can pick up my exclusive minifigure since the other versions are launching Oct 30th. Knowing TRU, they will be out of Elronds by the time my release date comes.

I've read about Elrond's cape is actually short (hobbit length) and does appear that way from one of the Ebay listings. Does anyone here have it yet to confirm this?

I picked up my DS copy and my Elrond. I can confirm that it is comes in a bricktober-magnet-like Polybag (can't see into it). I can also confirm that Elrond's cape is hobbit length instead of the full length as it appears to be on the front of the polybag and in most images.

The hairpiece is nice, has a detailed braid in the back.
I have mixed feelings about new releases: I can't wait to see and get the new sets... but I can't figure out where I'm gonna put them or store them.

Elrond was packaged with a short cape because they didn't have the full-sized one yet. According to the customer service rep I spoke to a couple days ago, the cape (in 'earth blue') won't be available until the 15th at which time they will send me one. If anyone else cares to bother you only need to fill out a missing piece claim on the Lego website. They had me call them afterwards and the lady was very nice about it.
