LOVE THESE. medium price point, fun stuff. heck, these strike me as more appealing than say, a Quinjet. There's different elements to each set instead one big clunky 'thing'. Three figures is a great amount too, they can include two featured characters and always some new random one (Aquaman!!!).

Finally, I can have a superhero who can solve all my fish-related disasters... ;)

    $$$40?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
i really hope that is a typo, i mean looking at this $25 already seems pricey, comparing to this year superhero line.

If these really are $40 (!!) then I'm definitely going to be waiting for clearance.

I have mixed feelings about new releases: I can't wait to see and get the new sets... but I can't figure out where I'm gonna put them or store them.

Very nice minifigs. These sets would be more attractive if MSRP was set at $29.99.

Should be $19.99 ea. The size, part count and minifig count are similar to Loki escape and wolverine showdown sets.

    WOOHOO!!! Flying car!!!

I'm guessing these are more like the $25, $30 range (at least in The States).

I submitted the post above and yours popped up as a "this happened while you were writing that" warning. I thought about that, but it seems licensed themes are on the rise, price-wise, so I figured it would end up being more than those. I'd love to see them at $20, though!

I agree with everyone else, there is no chance these will be $40.
And I have proof to why...

Lego officially released some pictures of two sets from next year. One of them was the Spider-Man set. It comes with a building, a jet thing, and 5 minifigures for $50. Why would two sets with three minifigures and a vehicle (Just like this year's $20 SH sets) cost $40 next year? Even with price increases these should not be more than $25.

Plus they have the the $40 Batman Tumbler set for SFr. 59.90, the $50 Spider Man set for SFr. 69.90. So SFr. 34.90 would be $20 to $25. It really drives me crazy when sites just try to guess a price out of thin air without actually looking at the facts and using common sense to make an educated guess.

Yeah, I don't know where people are getting $40 from. Maybe from just doing a straight currency conversion or something, which does not work with LEGO.

These should be at $25 max. They are similar in size and likely piece count to the current $20 sets in the SH line and the $25 Desert Skiff in the SW line.

Now we're talking! If they're gonna continue to pump out Batman sets, then I'm glad they're starting to give us different Batsuits. Arctic Batman looks sweet, along with the Electro Suit Batman from the Visual Dictionary. And shoehorning Aquaman in there is a bonus!

The Spidey set is great too. Its nice to finally see Venom and Nick Fury in an official set.

I just wish TLC would make the vehicles consistent in size. Nick's car is larger than the new tumbler in scale. I think the car is 10 studs vs the tumbler's 8. You can't collect them all without having the tumbler look like a midget's toy.

I am kind of confused why the artic batman vehicle is black. Batman is wearing white, wouldn't a white vehicle make more sense? Black kind of stands out in the arctic. Otherwise, nice looking sets.

I agree. However I think the only reason why Batman is in white is so Lego can have a different Batman. There are only so many colors that can be used in Batman suit.

And I guess maybe LEGO thought a white vehicle would make it look lke it's Mr. Freeze's?

Now this is the epitome of great LEGO sets. I haven't puchased any Marvel or DC sets yet, but this may alter that course. I love the figures they put into that Batman set. No henchmen, unknown accomplices, etc.; just good 'ol superheroes and villans.
    Bravo, LEGO.
    Bravo.

Very tempted by this Spidey set for the minifigs, Fury especially, but the rest of the set doesn't bother me.

ALL Batman Vehicles are Black, period. He may change colors with his suits, but his vehicles never do.

Not a big fan of the Motorcycle in the Spidey set... car isn't the best either. I agree anthony as well... bravo on the great minifig selection, although I fear the price of these sets are going to be ridiculous.
