Toys R Us America has launched a new RewardsRUs program where you can now earn rewards faster than before. The Rewards R Us Card is free so anyone can sign up for it.

For the R Us Credit Card, you can get 10% off R Us stores on Thursdays and also earn 1 point for every $4 spent (equivalent to 1% back) outside of Toys R Us/Babies R Us. There's also 15% off first purchase or 6 months special financing.

Rewards (for purchases at Toys R Us/Babies R Us)

125 points = $5 Reward
Rewards R Us Card: 1 point for every dollar spent (4% back)
R Us Credit Card: 2 points for every dollar spent (8% back)

What about Canada?

This does not apply to Canada. However, Canada will probably get it in the future. They're now trying the pick up in-store/check availability on the .ca site which happened a few years ago on the .com site.

Last Tuesday I received the TRU Oct sales booklet and it came with a 20% discount card on a regular price item, starting today Oct 3. I did not read all the exclusion and went to TRU to get a Trevi Fountain which is surprisingly at MSRP. When I went to check out the associate tried the card and she told me that it’s not valid on the item, pointing out to me that part of the exclusion from the coupon are Lego.

Not hot Items or hard to find, but all Lego.

To me, this is the first time I have encounter this situation. I wonder if TRU will keep most of their Lego items at MSRP but will exclude them from their 20% offers henceforth; which are not many anyway.

I just looked at our two coupons one 20% off a regular priced item and $5 off a $25 purchase and both now exclude Lego.
