I just want to say that I'm glad they note what things are for children only. That saves me the awkwardness of showing up and expecting goodies. Lol.

I think you want your quotes around "model", not "surfer". He's definitely a surfer fig, but he's not really a "model".

I'm looking to get the Lego Kingdoms chess set. However, I decided against the Sopwith Camel and am even less enthralled with the Birthday cake. Any guess as to how long the chess set will be around? I don't want to miss out on a nice freebie like the Hulk or TC-14 and can just save up a $50 purchase until we get another one (say, something when the Hobbit comes out). But I also don't want to miss out on the chess set.

So, two questions:
1) How long do you think the chess set will be available?
2) How many times a year the last couple of years have there been minifig giveaways? Or any other buy $X, get something events?

No I meant to have the quotes on "surfer" as do not feel it is a decent rendition of a surfer at all! ;-)

Sort of tempted with the double offer cake and Creator. Shipping might negate the temptation.

We did a BBQ grill from 2010 @ NorthPark LEGO store Dallas,TX. Evidently stores were assigned random sets from previous years based on a summer theme...

I forgot to create a separate post about this. We had the watermelon slice. The good thing (for us) was that there was hardly anyone there.
