First the MMMB for November is se-posed to be a Pilgrim!?
Second A clear scan would be nice but if not please give us the set number for the Holiday Set!
It's listed at the bottom of page 2! Either 3300014, 320014 or 3900014 or something in that range!

    Thanks!

I'm quite excited. Black Friday savings plus a free set! I may forgive the pirate plank bait and switch.

Thanks! Also I doubt that the Turkey is the MMMB for November since the one that is pictured is actually 40033
and can be purchased as a set (Poly)! I'm sure that it will be a Pilgrim and that the turkey is a mistake!

I had the same question yesterday and I confirmed with the lego store manager that it will be the 40033 Turkey set for the MMMB next month. And they already put it on display box in the store, I saw it there. Initially, they had misprinted the picture in the store calendar, so everything had to be retracted and reprinted with this new one. That's why the calendar was released in a delay. Happy Building.

Maybe they realized November 6th is election day and no matter who wins the White House, there will still be a turkey in the Oval Office...

Woohoo! Can't wait for Brick Friday. I'm also very curious to know what the exclusive holiday set will be, hopefully Grogall will get some HD pics in soon.

I just hope this years brick friday is better than last years. I was a bit disappointed with everyones black friday deals last year. Wish we had a lego store close for the mini builds for my kids. Lego stores seem to be everywhere EXCEPT New Mexico so I have to rely on Shop at Home for my deals.
Why do we drive on a parkway and park on a driveway?

Even if they are not good, we just went through a round of smoking hot deals, so the pain this year won't be as bad. Last year was the worst year for deals that I can recall.

The Toy Shop and AT-AT walker last year at S@H Black Friday wasn't a bad deal at all... plus the 10% off over $150... not too bad. I don't think we can expect much better...

Are the Black Friday deals and scratch cards in Canada as well?

Sadly, I think this is true across the board. Seems that black Friday is more hype than reality these days. Quality items just get a decent sale (but generally about the same as a good sale at any time of year). Cheap generic junk is blown out as the "doirbuster". Lego seems to fall under the quality category.

^ I totally agree. That's why 25% off some items plus an additional 10% off and a free set plus free shipping and VIP points (like last year) is not a bad deal at all in my eyes. However, of course, it could always be better. But I would much prefer quality (such as LEGO) over cheaper products. I am happy to pay a few bucks extra.

Yea, Black Friday for Lego stores stink. The only plus is the scratch card if you get more than 20%, but most are all 10%, and the free set should be cool.

I hope the set is in line w/ the ones from last year. Those were fun.

    Choices...

    Postby scatmanjack » Mon Oct 15, 2012 10:25 am

So do I buy the Joust set before October 31 and get double VIP points or buy it Black Friday at an unknown discount and get the bonus holiday set...? Tough choice... If I had gotten on the 23% off sale last week this would be a moot point.

Extra points will net you the equivalent of $5, so you make the comparison of what is better.
