LEGO Friends Special Mini Clip Videos at Disney Site

Legolotr informs us that Disney.com has a section where they have mini clips for LEGO Friends. The videos load pretty slow (plus commericals at the beginning) so you need to be a bit patient.

Am I the only that doesn't see how LEGO Friends is being hosted by Disney? Is this a new licensing agreement or just a distribution deal?

Wasn't there some rumour of a friends TV show? Maybe Disney is producing it.

There is a Lego Friends DVD called "New Girl in Town", it was just released in Australia yesterday 11/14/12. It's released by Universal there though, not Disney. Amazon US has a listing for a book tie-in set for release in Januaury, so I have to believe the DVD will hit the US as well sometime in the next couple of months. IMDB indicates the show is 22 minutes long. Has anybody seen it?

The first video, my kids and I saw on TV. It was during commercial time. This was in the last week.


I am not sure what channel, but I would not be surprised if it happened to have been on the Disney channel. Perhaps that is the affiliation... that Disney has rights to air it on the Disney channel??
It makes sense, but since I don't know the channel, that doesn't help. I will have to see if the kids remember.
