To buy one or two to build or for parts, yes it is a good deal...

For resale, no, Racers have generally never done well for resale, other than the licensed sets...

Dang, it's the only WR set I need to complete the theme (love the colors, figs, stickers), but my $$ is already earmarked for the MBA L3 pre-order during the double-VIP/free shipping promo overlap. If it sells out this go-round, I suppose it will just join "Creator Off-road Power" in my list of "ones that got away"...

Wow, I'm surprised to read here that the Slave 1 is discontinued already. That was fast (especially compared to the Death Star which was rumored to be soon-discontinued over a year ago). Glad I got one back while Amazon had good deals on it.

Off-Road Power didn't get away, it is still for sale for RRP from Amazon...

^ Sorry - yes, true, it's still available. I meant that I missed out on the sale before Christmas at TRU and Amazon. TRU had it 40% off on BF, Amazon I think about 35% off.
