Within a few days of release, Amazon America already has the new LEGO Ninjago 70724 Ninjacopter on sale for $44.99 (reg.$59.99). Savings work out to be 25% off. has slashed the prices on many LEGO sets. As always, free shipping and no tax for most states on orders above $35. More of their hottest LEGO deals can be found here.

The three new LEGO Hobbit sets have also been discounted including 16% off 79014 Dol Guldur Battle for $59 (reg.$69.99) and 15% off 79011 Dol Guldur Ambush for $17 (reg.$19.99). There's also a couple of new 25% off deals including Series 3 Star Wars Planets Sets and the regular priced $9.99 Friends sets like Mia's Magic Trick.

Remember that Amazon is also offering a FREE Gund Amazon Collectible Bear Plush (2013) when you spend $75 or more on qualifying toys including LEGO. Once you have spent $75 or more, just add the bear (reg.$24.99) and the bear will be for free.

Now that they have the exclusion list those sets are always best bought from Lego...unless another retailer works around the exclusion by offering another bonus other than a cheaper price, but at that point you are probably better off just getting double or triple points.

They sure have discounted these hobbit sets fast. I remember when we were complaining (myself included) about an over priced 79013 at $59.99 for 470 pieces....now you can get them for MSRP $50, and on sale for $40. The 79012 at $30 is a steal for army building plus this one has a lot nice figures.

I'll continue to purchase exclusives through their stores, it's just annoying that less than a week after purchasing the Battle set from the S@H it's on sale at amazon. I'm looking forward to the after x-mas sale.

TRU does the same thing. The sets come out at MSRP and then after all the other stores start getting them they RAISE the price. Really weird.
