This week from December 14-20, Zellers Canada will be offering 40% off ALL LEGO. If you are a senior (those 55+ or better), you can save an extra 20% off on Monday, December 17 when you use your HBC Mastercard/Credit Card. For all other tender types, you still get to save an extra 10% off. This sale excludes liquidation stores (even though their sales for this week are like blowout prices!).

From the looks of things, this might be their last "full week" flyer for the stores that are not in liqudation mode yet. All remaining Zellers stores will begin liquidation on December 26, 2012 in preparation for Target's arrival.

I hope they restock before the sale starts, but not holding my breath. I've spent so much on LEGO in the last two months that it would have to be something really good like Jabba's palace to make me bite.

i went to my local one during the last sale, mostly had hero factory toys and alien conquest...a few star wars, lots of ninjago figure packs, but no ninjago sets.....i'll have to go see what they got this week and report back...

Even better than the 30% off sale two weeks ago. Liquidation stores only has toys at 30% off.

Now I need to find out what sets they actually have in stock at Oakridge.

The 30% off from a couple of weeks ago was pretty good, but I didn't really see anything that I wanted then; mostly stuff in the 'meh' category. With 40% off and (hopefully) a decent coupon, I could see myself pulling the trigger on some of them. Would be killer if they had some of the newer stuff, but I guess the odds on that are nil.

I don't think that they will restock as in a couple of weeks they are all in Liquidation mode. For 40% off and a coupon - i.e. $10 off $40 there is still plenty of interesting stuff out there (just nothing too recent).

Erin Mills Town Centre (don't believe their website) and Orangeville are the 2 I'm aware of / going to hit up this weekend.

Website lists Toronto High Park, one in the shwa and North York as also starting their Liquidation on Boxing day.

Relative to the last sale (30%, $10 Coupon), this sale is marginally better.
Will use the example of a $59.99 set or multiple sets adding to that.

In the last sale, you'd take 30% off the Reg Retail ($18) reducing the pre-coupon value to $41.99 (Above the $40 threshold for the coupon), then take $10 off that for a net of $31.99. This is about 46.7% savings off original retail.

In this sale, you'd take 40% off the Reg Retail ($24) reducing the pre-coupon value to $35.99 (Above the $35 threshold for the coupon), then take $5 off that for a net of $30.99. This is about 48.3% savings off original retail.

Not sure what I'll find when I go today / this weekend, but hoping to pickup a couple sets as I never made it out for the last sale.
