LEGO Boxing Day Sale 2013 in Canada
This year, a variety of retailers will be offering boxing day discounts on various LEGO products. The deals at Sears and Target are not bad. Toys R Us on the other hand appears to be having a regular sale and not really having a "Boxing Day" sale with the weak discounts they are putting. You'll probably score better at Sears, even with their very limited selection of toys. Target and Sears will have their doors open at 6am on Boxing Day.

Are there any Sears that have toys in stock anymore...? I remember them clearing them out a few months ago or so...

Yeah Sears stock levels are so bad they're usually not worth visiting.

The boxing day sale seems not attractive enough.
I visited Metrotown Sears last saturday and the store only got Friends and Chima. It is hard to expect the store will hold any Lego for boxing day.

in Vancouver/Burnaby, the Brentwood Mall Sears didn't even have toys when I visited a few months back.

Anything from the Lego Store? I thought I saw something posted/tweeted but it seems to have been removed.
Re: LEGO Boxing Day Sale 2013 in Canada
Toys are now only available at Sears stores during the holiday season (around November) after they decided to remove it from their stores last year. They carry around 5 different LEGO products (usually in larger volumes which is a bit similar to Costco). I believe Brentwood has Toys on the 3rd level and are placed throughout the store in the walkways. With 3 levels, its one of the bigger Sears stores in the area now after the flagship store in Vancouver closed.legolego wrote:in Vancouver/Burnaby, the Brentwood Mall Sears didn't even have toys when I visited a few months back.
I was there 2 days ago and they still had some of these sets (near the escalators). I think it was Adventure Camper and Heartlake Vet along with a few other Chima ones. If your going to Metrotown, I would first go to Target. They had about ~10-15 Jedi Interceptors there.legohunter wrote:The boxing day sale seems not attractive enough.

Chapters.ca has a few LEGO sets on sale for 20% off. If you are looking for TMNT they have most sets in stock. Amazon.ca has a few sets marked down as well.

durge74 : You say that Amazon.ca has a few sets in rebate. Which ones? I can't seem to find them.
Re: LEGO Boxing Day Sale 2013 in Canada
some of the smaller Castle sets are 25% off, but I haven't checked lately to see what else they have

The only reason I'll be going to The Lego Store tomorrow is because perhaps a chance at a scratch card. I managed to get a 20% card...only reason I'm tempted is to see if the newer Winter Village set is discounted and maybe a chance at that scratch card (if they're even doing it this year). Combine that with $35 in points I guess it's not too horrible for an exclusive set.

Re: LEGO Boxing Day Sale 2013 in Canada
Sorry, I didn't check the price since I only found out that the batman set was on sale when I used the price check thingie. One ninjago set was also on sale, but it was a small one. Better check your local Target and use the price check to see whether it was on clearance. 9494 was not even listed on their system as on clearance. I have to show them the flyer that it was on clearance.
