For every series so far I've built a display case out of LEGO that's the color of the packets but I'll have to make an exception for series 9 & 10. ;-) Grey and tan would be reasonable substitutions I think.
Like you I've used the color of the packets for my stage for each series but I don't think I can do silver and gold plates and bricks.

All we need now is a Peter Griffin minifigure from Family Guy so they can fight.
Why do we drive on a parkway and park on a driveway?

Big fan of the suit minifigs. I prefer the ones like Bunny and now Chicken where they fully expose the face. The only advantage of the suits that hide the face is you can use them as Godzilla or an actual gorilla.

Just need a few more such as panda, cow, dog, and cat.

I would sell every piece of Lego I have if that were to happen. :)

I agree, they are loads of fun. Great for Halloween costumes, chicken for a KFC, lady liberty is used by a tax company. Cats is a good idea to, for a Cat broadway play. :)

Heh. Got excited about the sneak peak, guess I'll go back after Dec 3rd to maybe see something from the front!

When are these actually supposed to be hitting store shelves (or S@H)?

It looks good. I wonder if top left space patrol guy is a blacktron or m-tron fig, that would make me happy.

you need to learn to read. the answer was given 2 posts above yours. if it had been like a few pages ago, i could understand but this is just laziness.

Lego.com has offically updated its CMF page with Series 9 minifigures.

They were looking much better than I had imagined. Good job to TLC. I have already thought of turning the upset waiter into "Alfred the Butler" from Batman.

By looking at the offical pics, the package is looking like grey more than silver.
