Seems like these calendars didn’t sell at all as LEGO Brand Stores in Canada are now selling the 2012 Star Wars Advent Calendars for $12.5 (reg.$49.99). At this price, you can’t miss it as its a great deal even just for the parts and minifigures (way better than paying for a battle pack)!
The sale started about a week ago, but it seems like some stores are restocking. If you don’t live close to one, you should call them to check on availability before heading out. Thanks to forum member josephliyen and others for the heads up.
