Re: Availablity Update for LEGO Ideas Exo-Suit & Research In

I brought one home in July and my seven year old at the time scoffed it, but yet since it still has sat unopened on the dresser and his minecraft pc game took priority, seems to be with most of his lego sets. They had these at the local mall in October and the owner was selling them at ebay prices.

Winter Santa sets

I noticed there is only one freebie promo that really goes with the Santa village set. I would imagine 40106 is very collectible as it adds two elf mini figures that you can't get elsewhere. Hurry as this set is almost gone with the October promotion.

Re: 21050 Architeture Studio Potential Return in August 2014

The toysrus site does show that, and has for a very long time. Barnes and nobles do have them, for those who get the 20% off member coupons, the fine print now says it excludes architectural studio, mindstorms and the Death Star. So 175 ish minus the 10% discount is a bit steep from 149 prior.

Thanks for that update. Your right. I'll still pass, you have to be a die hard fan, too big and my kids have no interest. Hopefully someone sees your post and buys one if they were waiting.

Re: Brick fair manchester NH

We probably will pass next year, but for someone that hasn't been, it is probably worth the visit. Some interesting displays by wonderful intelligent people and lots for kids to see and do. Lots of vendors too. Congrats to the team that put this together, looks like a lot of effort and planning invo...

Re: Super Star Destroyer 10221

Wow, that must have been quite a day for you. I remember purchasing that set for my son for Xmas and he returned it to the lego store and bought the full ninjago series that was out at the time. I used to cringe thinking where the heck you store something so big.

Re: Simpsons Minifigures @ TRU

So you like stealing the rare figures that are meant to be rare? Good job stealing a rare figure from some kid who is honest about it. You don't like getting duplicates? Imagine the person that buys 20, 30, 40 of these only to find that it has NO rare figs in it because you picked them over. Congra...

Re: Simpsons Minifigures @ TRU

I found, of the bunch I purchased at Target, there were three different distinct serial numbers at the bottom of all the ones I purchased. I compared two of the same figures and found the bump codes where different for the same figure when there was different serial numbers. So if you are going to d...

Re: Simpsons Minifigures @ TRU

I purchased quite a few at Target today. This is actually the first lego purchase I have ever made that I am debating returning. $4 a pop or $3.80 with red card savings is like what a spend for my lunch each day....

Wonder why the need for the video to tell us this. I agree. Allows lego to produce another production run and dump to the resellers. Good, bad? Who knows anymore.

Re: Six new LEGO Minecraft Microworld Sets (November 2014)

They appeared to be a hot seller at Xmas, however I never saw so many come back as returns while I was at the lego store after Xmas. And I was only there for less than 40 minutes with my kids. Sometimes too any of the same can hurt.

Re: LEGO The Simpsons Series Minifigures (List Revealed)

I'm really disappointed. I think this could be the worst series yet. Furthermore, I don't know who they were trying to appeal to (20-50 year olds). No parent lets their 8 year old watch the Simpsons. Furthermore, I am not paying $4.00 a figure for only unique heads that have no usefulness in a moc....
