Houston gets a 3rd store and a tiny town outside of Rochester, NY gets one but Pittsburgh, PA is still waiting on our first? What the crap, LEGO!? Sorry to be a poor sport but I don't know what they're waiting for.

Looks like a very cool set. Congrats to any of you that nab one.

Both of the fire brigade sets were labelled 39R1 on the tape sealing the box. I had already thrown away the bags for the first set, but the second set had 19 bags - 10 labeled "1" and 9 labeled "2." I ended up just returning all three sets to Amazon. I'm sure LEGO would have sent...

Most of the pieces that I think are missing turn out to be either still in the plastic bags, hidden under other pieces or I'm looking for the wrong color piece. ;-) Only 2-3% of the sets I build actually have missing/broken parts so finding three in a row is really bad. That happens a lot to me too...

Aha, thanks. I looked for a thread but didn't recognize the term "Boxing Day."

I bought two LEGO sets this week, the Fire Brigade (my first modular house) and the Winter Toy Shop (my first Winter Village set). The sets arrive Wednesday and I begin putting together the Fire Brigade. I start building the fire truck and quickly realize (on step three or four) that I am missing so...

Last year, LEGO had a bunch of sets in the shop at home store for 50% off, sometime around Christmas or New Year's.

Does this happen every year? Is it expected to happen this year? Do we know when?
