Have sales/discounts disappeared or is site Traffic down?

I've been on a bit of a hiatus from Lego Purchasing with my budget down a bit, but still trying to capture a few themes (Super Heroes, Batman, etc.) when they go on discount. Have checked the site here occasionally, and haven't been seeing nearly the number of sales/deals posts that I've seen in the...

Numbers on bottom of Brick Headz

A friend of mine asked me what the little eyeballs and number word bubbles on the bottom of Brick Headz mean / was for. I had no clue since these have not interested me and haven't purchased any or researched.

Anyone know the answer?

Re: LEGO Global Sales Grew 10% - First Half of 2016

You are also forgetting that over the past several years, Lego has been playing with prices, production, and discounts. Discounts have all but dried up. When I came out of my dark ages, I had a rule not to buy a set unless it was 25% off and often times, I got 30-50% off most sets, and I bought pret...

Hmm... Big Ben, London Bridge, and Eiffel Tower... now just gotta get my hands on a Statue of Liberty. (I didn't like the Opera House).

SO Happy I poached a full box from a local store... Set for me, the wife, and my Mom. Now I don't gotta mess with the madness of trying to find them.

Re: Disney CMF at Wal-mart

Walmart UPC - 067341925186 Dunno Target, and have no plans to purchase from them. Like a previous poster stated: Most Walmarts (and TRU's) will get at least 2 if not more boxes (at least on the initial shipment). It's Disney so I would expect even more, but who knows. Each box has 3 complete sets pl...

WTB 76039 Antman Final Battle

Missed it and wanted to grab the set. I can pay cash money, or offer trade depending on what you are interested in. Prefer unopened, but will consider open/used as well. Must be complete. Thanks.

Re: Black Friday 2015 Target Deals

I think the days of actual good Black Friday Lego sales are gone. Right after my dark age ended, they had Troll Mtn Fortress for like 50% off, the next year was a kingdoms castle for 50% off. Since then, sales have been essentially for the stuff they couldn't get rid of via normal sakes or even 30% ...

Re: CMF Series 15 list

I think its cuz they made the mold for the fin type arms, and have the shark hood from Atlantis. Cheap way for them to continue the "costume" theme without having to come up with new molds.

Re: ToysRUs Canada LEGO Bricktober 2015 - Week 3 - Sale Item

Sad... Only a few years ago we had a reason to actually buy sets... You know, a new discounted theme each week in addition to the freebie incentive. I just wait and buy minifigs that I would buy regardless. Result is less purchasing. Can't believe how we went from discounts all the time, to never ha...

Re: Official Press Release: #10247 Ferris Wheel LEGO Creator

I'm on the fence... I had the first Creator Ferris Wheel, and was micro style, but still big. I didn't like how if you didn't have a tight rubber band, the wheel wouldn't go around. This one looks superior in many aspects, and I really like it. The price tag is reasonable, but considering I had the ...

You're talking about less than $5. It wouldn't be worth the bad Juju to not pay someone, especially if they did in fact ship it twice... then they are at the pieces and the shipping 2x.

Bah, "Speed Champions" is just a re-hash of the previous Lego Ferrari sets. I have this exact truck (well almost exact) sitting in my closet as we speak. Come on Lego... stop rehashing.

Wanted the Star Destroyer, but $119.99 isn't cheap enough to pull the trigger. Couldn't get the extra $10 to stack, and even then still kinda weak :(
