Re: how would you sell a duplicate bigfig
I use bricklink. It is pretty easy to use (though the site is a bit dated), and their fees are relatively low compared to other places (amazon, ebay). Never had any problems buying or selling there. Local craigslist with cash payment (and no fees) would be best, but you wouldn't be reaching that lar...

Re: Age of Ultron Avengers 2015 Sets
Attack on Avengers Tower sound interesting but it sounds like it should be a bigger set than 511 pieces. At that piece count, it will likely be similar to the Hulk's Hellicarrier Breakout set or the Iron Man Malibu Mansion Attack set - will just be a small portion/one room of the tower, and a small...

I was thinking that that has to be a translation error. But if this is supposedly from the New Zealand catalog, it would have been in English so...Brick & Blue wrote:I really hope the name of the set isn't actually "Fire Starter Kit".

Excited for more Ultra Agents, even though I haven't finished picking up the first wave (working on it though).
Spyclops...hmmm...interesting.

Re: Ghostbusters HQ Reaches 10 000 Supporters for LEGO Ideas
That's nice and all, but it would never happen. I don't think LEGO is willing to produce an Ideas set that would cost $150-200. Especially one that would compete with the AFOL-focused modular building series. The designer of this did a nice job though.

Re: Closer Look at LEGO City Arctic 2014 Sets
I was excited when I first heard of the subtheme. When pics started to surface, I wasn't so excited. These are okay, but I guess I'm more into actiony themes. Not so much into the city/creator. I may pick up the smallest two sets on a whim someday.

In the US, I'm guessing it has to do with LEGO wanting to put more focus into the LEGO Movie sets and other merchandise right now. The 'January' Star Wars line still hasn't been released here either yet.

Ice,
Are you still looking for these? I have two of the LEGO store employees and one Clone Lieutenant, all in sealed bags. Looking to sell at this point, as I'm saving up for the 2014 sets.

Re: Battle of Naboo 7929
The carrier was in the film. It can be seen moving around in the background when the droid army first lands on Naboo in The Phantom Menace. I believe it's when the Trade Federation heads are talking via hologram to the droid officer. I think the set is decent. It is a good way to build up a LEGO dro...

Re: LEGO San Diego Comic Con 2013: Marvel and DC Minifigures
I won't buy them. Definitely not worth it for one figure. We certainly won't be seeing this Superman in another set. This is the kind of figure that event exclusives should always be. We've all had the chance to get Superman in a set. This black-suited version is just an obscure alternate. I doubt w...

On May's LEGO calendar, it says something about getting a free poster for helping Tony Stark rebuild his mansion. I think it starts mid-May.

I asked my three year old (who would get the books if I win).
1. Favorite Friend: Stephanie because she has yellow hair and nice clothes.
2. Adventure Camper: Because it's fun to play with and all of the girls ride in it.

Re: LEGO 76003 Superman Battle of Smallville
The dropship looks kind of...odd. But it's cool nonetheless. So far, the Superheroes line hasn't really taken us 'out of Earth' with its vehicles, so this is a nice change up.
Overall, a great-looking set. This will probably be the one MoS set that I do buy.

Re: Castle or haunted house???
Both are very good. Dollar-for-dollar, I would say the Vampyre Castle is the better set. A slew of play features, cool figures, and the fighters' car make it a fun set. The Haunted House is "finished," and the inside is nicely detailed, but not as much going on play-wise.
