Kind of disappointed that they don't include the 1980 something space guy.

S@H No Longer Shipping to "3rd Party Shipping Vendors"

My order from US shop.lego.com site has just been cancelled because I am shipping my order to a shipment company in the US border town of Blaine WA.

Has anyone else experienced the same problem lately? So I guess Lego is try to make me pay for the price difference between US and Canada. Sigh

Base on Oakridge opening experience what time does the line usually starts? I am planning to arrive at 9am, too early or too late?

Re: Series 10 Now Starting to Appear at Target, ToysRUs, Wal

Walmart in Lougheed Mall, Burnaby, BC has about 10 boxes out. It is near the mall exit.

I spent an hour there, found all 16 of them but didn't find any Mr. Gold.

Re: Vancouver LEGO Store! Finally.

Just back from the Vancouver store. The cashier was actually quite surprised that I already have a VIP membership card.

Yup. The PAB wall sucks! Just a bunch of 2x4 bricks in different colours. I guess kids will be happy, but certainly nothing for AFOL.

Re: [MOC] Mill Village & Market Village Scene

That looks great! Is this the project you were asking about in the 'building tips and tricks' section? Yes! I've figured out a way to attach buildings onto the base plate at an angle using jumper plates. In fact all the building you see in the scene is attached using jumper plates. They can be deta...

[MOC] Mill Village & Market Village Scene

Now that Kingdoms is discontinued, I hope I can continue to bring life to this theme. I decided to build a proper landscape to display MVR and MMV. Here it is. http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7141/6804653035_38b96f94f1_z.jpg Mill Villlage & Market Village by eric.leung , on Flickr http://farm8.sta...

Very cool! If you can get some mini figs holding the poles underneath the dragon, that would be awesome!

Re: [MOC] Kingdoms Outpost Attack Scene

A very nice front yard. I love the color combination which made the scene looking bright. Good job in modification of the outpost. The original one is too simple with zero defense. BTW, why did lion knight always get ambush? Did you recycled the tree from last MOC? Haha. Yes, I recycled the t...

[MOC] Kingdoms Outpost Attack Scene

Here my latest creation. I am in the process to put all my Kingdoms set into a proper scene. http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7142/6712274055_32c0fae571_z.jpg IMG_8056 by eric.leung , on Flickr http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7021/6712274791_778846543f_z.jpg IMG_8060 by eric.leung , on Flickr http://farm...

According to Oakridge Centre on the Metro newspaper today, the Vancouver LEGO store is scheduled to open on April 15th. Around 3 more months to go! I hope they can open earlier than that though. http://www.metronews.ca/vancouver/local/article/1067578--b-c-s-first-lego-store-to-open-at-oakridge-centr...

Thanks for all your compliments! I am in the tree craze mode over the holiday. Hunting to bargain tree parts almost everyday. I have three trees now. I am trying to see if I have enough parts to combine them into one big one.

Placing Buildings at an Angle on a Baseplate?

Hi. Is there any publicized technique for placing a building at an angle on a baseplate?

I am asking because I am creating a castle scene and I do not want to have everything fixed at an 90 degree angle, if you know what I mean.

Thanks!

I was trying to build my own version that day and I was thinking it should be easy. But no, I was wrong. I guess you really have many extra sets to get the bricks needed.

Good Job. Once again!

Re: Entire Kingdoms line discontinued?

Swung by a TRU today & found 1 King's Carriage and 3 MVRs. MVR was RRP...not too bummed cause I scored one for 50% off at WM recently. I too will miss Kingdoms, LOTR sucks. Totally agreed. I can't believe Lego discontinued their only castle theme. I am currently in the mode of just blindly grab...

You can always get blacksmith attack from Homesense or winners for 8.99 if you can't find one at TRU.
