Re: Target - Summer Clearance

The Targets in my area seem to have their mark downs on Sunday. But I think different areas have different methods. I'm around Sacramento, CA. As for worst mark downs I've found one of the worst. PotC Black pearl was priced at the Queen Anne's price of $119.99. Then it is marked down to around $108....

Re: Target 50% clearance - 4641 Speed Boat

I saw Mr. Diddly at my Target as well. Of course there's still a whole lot of others to check. Promblem is the mobile site search came up with an error when I tried looking it up in my area.

Re: Toys R US $10 off $50 LEGO purchase

I've had similar experiences with past sales as well. All it means for me is that I go in for special polybag sets and exploit the sales that are really screw ups like the $10 off a $50 coupon that could be applied to 3 items neting you $30 off.

Re: [USA] LEGO Batman 2: DC Superheroes Pre-Order Deals

It's been a while since I bought a game, but the impression that I got from most of the GS in my area was that they didn't really care about the small promos. In fact on several occassions I had friends that woul ask if there were any promors the store didn't care aout any more and they got them. I ...

Re: [Winners] Microbuild LEGO Tournament 2012

Hey don't feel bad echax. This contest had a lot of really great entries. Sometimes that's just what strikes people as interesting sometimes. As it was I completely forgot to vote. Kind of feel embarased about that, but I've had my head buried in a fairly big model I've been working on for the past ...

I have to say, your son has excellent "Tastes." Perhaps it should be named after him like El Hijo or Mi Higo. Translates into The Son or My Son.

Re: Missing pieces from "friends"

My wife and I got the wrong piece once. It wias a double convex slope instead of a normal 2x2 slope. Otherise we've just had to call about damaged instructions. Recently, one of the members of our LUG reported that they were missing 11 pieces from the new Town Hall set. So I'm pretty sure it can hap...

Re: Is anyone having issues with the peeron site?

Oh, now I got you. In that case there is the "View Sets" link in a piece's catalog entry just to the right of its picture. That gives you a list of all the sets it comes in and all the colors. Plus you can further break it down by year of release. There are several ways to get to a part's ...

Re: Is anyone having issues with the peeron site?

You know if you want to browse a bit more like Peeron on Bricklink you can. Satart by clicking the "Catalog" tab that's located right under the search box. Then go to the link labeled "Sets." It's the first link in the box labeled "Browse Catalog." This might be easier ...

Re: Is anyone having issues with the peeron site?

From my experience Peeron typically has a fairly low band width which makes things drag. I'd go with mooslug suggestion. Bricklink has just as robust of a Catalog as Peeron. It may take a little getting used to, but you can do more with it in the long run so it's worth the investment in time. Now if...

Re: Storing Large LEGO Collections

I've talked with a friend about a display room. Depending on how things go we might try building enclosed cases for display. It might be nixed simply because it will be impossible to use the room for anything else. Of course, that is assuming we can find a house with a seperate room that will work f...
