Found a glossy, mint, sealed perfect box of Harry Potter 4738 Hagrid's Hut sitting at a local Barnes and Noble for the standard $40.00 retail.

This is much more common than you think.

There are at least 3 or 4 Walmarts near me out of the 12 or so that routinely place items in the clearance section, with a red tag, that till reflects full retail price.

My girlfriend's Galaxy S4 still works with scanning method. I took my camera on my last scouting trip to Walmarts and photographed some barcodes I want to keep an eye on. Yep. The unfortunate part is that there is no "common practice" when it comes to Walmart clearance. There are 10 stores near me and each one handles clearance a little differently. I know which one gets all the unsold run off, and does the largest markdowns. Unfortunately, it is impossible...

My local Wal-Mart must have cleared out dead/old stock from their back room, because I managed to find several Harry Potter Knight Bus sets. One was a gift for someone, but I hung onto two for myself. There were four in total there. They were marked down to $20 clearance. This is how I found three ...

The K-mart near me had this 2.54 sale sign stuck on the brand new Series 10 case. It was already pretty ravaged when I got to it, but I scored two more Sea Captains after some rifling through it, and for a little cheaper since they honored the sticker.

My TRU only had the new Castle and City sets. No new LOTR for me yet.

I felt through a virgin case of Series 10 at my target, and ended up with 3 Sea Captains and 8 Medusas, so these numbers of 2-3 a case everyone is throwing out there should be taken with a grain of salt.

That said, they are IN GENERAL the more hard to find figs, so I've amassed 9 of each.

I discovered the hard way that Target won't match their own online promotions in store. I drove 20 miles to the nearest store to get a helms deep and after arguing with the sales clerk and calling customer service leaving empty handed. Sadly true. They will price match, but will not match promotion...

Target US will pricematch Wal-Mart.com and Amazon.com year round now. They have an IPAD at customer service and will look it up from that.
