Im am excited for this one. Not sure which theme I will do yet, ill have to do some brainstorming. One quick question though, u mentioned we can use figs from advent calendars, would it be a bit too un-origional to use the actual christmasy ones from the calendars like Santa Yoda/Darth Mal, or the S...

Unfortunately not, I tried my hardest to make it "openable", but alas I am a firm believer in making MoCs from pieces on hand and I did not have enough smaller plates to allow me to separate the halves, just enough to finish it whole.Brick & Blue wrote:Does the Pokéball open?

Also, Quick clarification regarding the photos rules. It states in the rules 2 photos of the build, and 1 photo of the inspiration, but many entries have more than this already, can we get a ruling on this?

Re: [Contest] LEGO Spring 2013: Classic Movie Vignette
I have to say the whole CMF part of the contest is rather... poor. It doesn't make sense, the rules aren't 100%, and worst it makes it very very limited, plus a lot of people have issues finding them. Well, if you don't like it, you don't have to enter. I for one think it adds an interesting challe...

A Green Guy Lifts A Spaceship For CMF, I added the artist. The artist is sopposed to draw the picture of the event. Approx 200 pcs. Um, I'm pretty sure there is no painter in this scene in the movie, Darth Vader (or the thought of him) is hiding in a low frame rate cave, but no artist in site. I'm ...

King Kong (1933) Planes attack Kong while he holds Ann hostage in his mighty grip atop the Empire State Building , with no overhang ofcourse. "Well Denham, the airplanes got him." "Oh, no, it wasn't the airplanes...it was Beauty killed the Beast." http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8...

Since no one has brought this up and since it will probably be an issue, what is the ruling of overhang? we should probably define this from the start.

Re: [Contest] LEGO Spring 2013: Classic Movie Vignette
Creation must be a classic movie scene (nothing from the past 2 decades; aka 20+ years) I read that to mean the movie has to be more then 20 years old. It doesn't have to be from 1993. Yes, that was made obvious from the start, I meant if you wanted to do one from 1993 (20 years ago) would it have ...

Also, when you say the movie has to be 20 years old, does that mean from start of contest (2/15), or could any movie from 1993 count?
