Re: New UCS Death Star 75159
The 'new' Death Star is both fine to me, but also a bit annoying. On the positive end, this is good for people who never got the old version. It looks like there are some minor improvements. There really is no need to get this if you have the old. No need to waste $400 (or now $500) for a new set. T...

The resistance X-Wing looks nice, but the thing I am most excited about? The return of the 'old' blasters!

Re: LEGO Nexo Knights - New Castle Theme for 2016
Before seeing this picture I was skeptical from the descriptions I had read. This is a bit more fantasy/tech like than I would care for, but it is fresh which the castle theme needs. I only hope it does not get too wild and over the top like Ninjago has. I am probably most excited for the new part m...

Re: Bricks N Pieces alternative to Pick A Brick online order
Wall of text here, but I have lots of good info. I have been using Bricks and Pieces (B&P) for quite a few years now. Lego has made the process easier than it used to be; only in the past year or so they started showing prices for each part. Before, you would create your order and submit it, wai...

Green Futuron guy!!!!! However, my OCD is screaming a bit. The pattern is a little different. Looks like there is some sort of button pattern at the bottom of the torso.

Re: Jurassic World Toy Fair Report
Am I the only one a tad underwhelmed by this? The Dino theme that came out in 2012... most of these are recolored versions of the same mold, and the sets all feel the same but in different colors. The raptor, T-rex, and Teranadon use the exact same mold. The Dilophosaurus is the same as the raptor b...

Re: 75917 LEGO Jurassic World Raptor Rampage Set Picture
Yep, it looks like all the dinos outside of the Indominus Rex are from the exact same molds as the Dino 2012 theme. The I-Rex is simply a retooled version of the T-Rex, with somewhat bigger arms, and a slightly different shaped head. The body and legs are the most similar in that they have some extr...

Re: Kmart store closing- dover NJ. 30% off toys.
My local K-Mart has been going through the motions of closing their store and if it has not already, it will be closing very soon. What I find interesting is that the few K-Marts within reasonable driving distance never had any deals, especially on Lego. Not to mention their Lego isle was about 1/3 ...

Re: Ghostbusters HQ Reaches 10 000 Supporters for LEGO Ideas
I love this, but like others have said, I highly doubt it will happen as it is going to be at least as much as the most expensive modular, and also somewhat competes with the Firehouse Brigade set. I have a Firehouse of my own and am thinking of trying to convert it to this set

Re: Availablity Update for LEGO Ideas Exo-Suit & Research In
I am really ticked off. I made 2 separate orders for 2 exosuits each right when they went online. My order came in Tuesday and one of the boxes came with 2 Hero Factory sets instead of the Exo's. So I had to RMA them and now I wait for them to get back to HQ for them to mark as returned, and then wa...

Re: LEGO The Hobbit Lonely Mountain Set 79018
The price may be accurate. The castle set 'Dragon Mountain' has 376 pieces, 6 figures, and is $50. It has a better price per part ratio and more figures though. Smaug looks like one of those dragons but has new molding for the head and arms/wings. After gathering up 6 or 7 various dragons from previ...

Re: Lego May the 4th sneek peak
My Sandcrawler order came in today from my May 3rd order. There was a notification that I was getting a Darth Revan figure, but it did not show up in my bag. It did show up on my order summary but I did not get it with the set today. I called customer service and they are sending me one. So be aware...

Yes it has - on Amazon on rare occasion. Sometimes at Walmart/Target, but even less than Amazon. Also, you can get it on sale right now....if you are in the UK/Europe. Otherwise no.Argle wrote:I am considering the Death Star. my question is, does that one EVER go on sale?

Darth Ravan is not showing up in my bag, despite a message saying "Congratulations! The Darth Revan™ Minifigure has been added to your bag" appearing above my cart. Anybody else having this issue, and is the minifigure showing up in your order after it's completed? The poster is showing u...

Makes me wonder if the SSD will be available in the US, and with that kind of discount on it as well. I keep hearing it has been discontinued, even from Lego employees

Re: LEGO Brick Friday 2013 FREE $10 Gift Card Expiration Dat
As another member here said, this is why I end up preferring straight up discounts from places like Amazon or Walmart. No catches, and you generally get better savings. I recently looked at all my purchases from Lego (in store and S&H) and kept wondering why the total seemed 5x lower than it sho...

Geez.. not 2 days ago I bought from there the Castle (at 75$) and the Titan (at 70$) thinking they would likely not go down much further. Would have been nice for an extra $10 off. Bummer
