Re: 50% off Ninjago

Just returned from a short Disney World trip in Orlando. The Lego store at Disney Springs is selling all their Ninjago Temple of Airjitzu for 50% off, $99 + tax. I snagged 2 sets. They have at least 20 sets left in store. I called my local Lego shops in Houston and they're on sale for only 10% off....

Re: 2015 Jan/Feb/Mar LEGO Gift Offers at LEGO Stores & S@H

This article is completely inaccurate. These are NOT the Jan/Feb/Mar promotions. These are additional promotions that you can get with a coupon from the free LEGO calenders currently available at stores.

Also there is no "Friends Bundle."

Costco is selling the pool and beach house sets for $29.99 each (retail $39.99).

Re: [USA] Target Clearance Finds

Picked up the new King's Castle (yes, the one that just came out) for $49.98 and An Unexpected Gathering for $34.98. Those two and a $30 Galaxy Quest set were the only ones half off. Everything else 15% or 30%, but I'm not complaining.

Amazon has matched the sale, though, but Mech OOS.

Re: [US/CA] LEGO Shop January 2013 Promotions

The winter sets are usually produced in limited quantities, I doubt they will have it next year especially considering how quickly this one went even though it was priced higher then previous years. No, they are not produced in limited quantities. They are simply ony widely available during the hol...

It's getting scarce because it's a hot holiday gift. It's in the 2013 product assortment and will be plentiful by the end of January.

Goblin King Battle is now down to $71.47 on Amazon... that was the magic price for me :) Thanks for the heads up friend! I can't imagine ever finding this cheaper straight up and as easy as Amazon! I paid $62.xx on yoyo.com this afternoon with code YOYO30A. Though availability is based on zip code.

Re: I think the Target Winter clearance has started...

Can you tell me which SoCal Targets you're finding these deals? There's always no luck in Los Angeles proper. All targets should have these clearance deals, but the bank sets and naboo starfighers are nearly all sold out now since the resellers have cleaned most targets out. I was at a target this ...

Re: Lego Shop@home Ripping off Canadians

LEGO Canada operates within it's own sphere. It is absolutely irrelevant to LEGO Canada how the U.S. dollar is doing. It's only relevant how the Canadian dollar is performing versus the Danish kroner. Ok, I'll bite. In January 1995, $1 CDN could buy $0.70 USD and 4.27 DKK. $1 USD could buy 6.03 DKK...

Re: Lego Shop@home Ripping off Canadians

When I also asked them why Canadians are paying 20-30% more for Lego when the dollar is at par, again, no reasonable answer. I think that's the true rip off. No, it's not. 1) Taxes are higher in Canada. That factors into the cost. 2) Competition is less free and less numerous in Canada. The factors...

Re: Shop @ Home and LEGO stores USA

It's not that weak - joust is available in stores for 20% off. It has a red clearance tag. I spoke to the staff and they said it's discontinued. Strange, but if you're on the fence, now's the time to buy one. 20% + 10% + pick a brick box + holiday set with fillers. Definitely a no brainer. I don't ...

Thanks. Sorry if that came off harsh. A lot of fan sites have been posting the image of the contents on news feeds lately. Luckily I have for the most part averted my eyes on time. Now hopefully this won't be too hard to find in stores!
